EarthDance Organic Farm School - Summer Associate VISTA

EarthDance Organic Farm School partners with youth‑serving organizations to provide hands‑on, farm‑based education that inspires young people to explore fresh foods, nutrition, and the natural world. Each summer, EarthDance leads an 8‑week program with Strength and Honor Mentoring and Tutoring (SAH) and hosts field trips for schools, youth groups, and Unleashing Potential, engaging youth in planting, harvesting, soil‑health lessons, cooking demonstrations, and team‑building activities. To sustain these partnerships and meet growing demand for field trips and youth programming, EarthDance seeks Summer Associate VISTAs who will help deliver high‑quality educational experiences and expand the farm’s capacity during the busy summer season.

The key responsibilities of the Summer Associate VISTAs will be:

• Lead farm tours, hands‑on activities, and cooking demonstrations for youth participating in SAH, Unleashing Potential, and other partner programs.

• Support 8‑week summer programming by engaging campers in planting, harvesting, soil‑health lessons, healthy‑eating activities, and team‑building experiences.

• Assist with field trips and help EarthDance meet increased demand from schools and youth‑serving organizations.

• Strengthen community partnerships by ensuring consistent, high‑quality support for youth education throughout the summer.
