MARKETING + PUBLIC RELATIONS + Outreach
The Marketing and Community Outreach VISTA is responsible for coordinating and executing the organization's social media and marketing strategy alongside our community engagement strategy.
The Communications and Marketing VISTA member will build the capacity of Affinia Healthcare by developing resources that support our patients by providing them access to health education and essential healthcare services, including behavioral health and dental services.
The Social & Engagement VISTA will build the capacity of Mission: St. Louis by developing and improving effective media communications (impact stories) for at least 200 low-income people in St. Louis, MO.
DATA + RESEARCH
The Development & Engagement VISTA will build organizational capacity for Gateway to Hope by expanding community outreach efforts, funding opportunities, volunteer engagement, and building data management practices to increase capacity for direct services to Missouri women as they navigate the breast health continuum of care (education, screening, and treatment navigation).
The Quality Improvement Specialist VISTA member will build the capacity of Affinia Healthcare by collecting and using data to complete root cause analysis and implement change in an identified processes both within the organization & for community event-based services.
The Research & Data VISTA member will build capacity by ensuring programs are supported by research (evidence-based), regularly evaluated (accurately and effectively tracked), and through grant research and writing for at least 200 low-income people in St. Louis, MO.
PROGRAM DESIGN + IMPLEMENTATION
The Financial Empowerment Diversion VISTA will coordinate the pilot financial empowerment diversion program in collaboration with The Office of Financial Empowerment and the Municipal Courts, creating mechanisms for project management and evaluation throughout its first year of operation.
The Youth Programs VISTA will build the capacity of Breakpoint Tennis & Life Skills Academy by building the evaluation and development of Breakpoint’s school and community programs in schools in the St. Louis region including St. Louis Public Schools, City Academy, Boys’ & Girls’ Club of Greater St. Louis, and Gene Slay Girls’ & Boy’s Club, develop new volunteer initiatives and strategic partnerships.
The Program VISTA member will enhance current programs and create new programming to meet the needs of Flance children, families, staff, and community members.
grant writing + development
The Fund Development VISTA will work closely with the Black Girls Do STEM board on fundraising strategies to gain individual donors, corporate sponsors and secure grants. This person will research, implement and manage all fund development systems and work directly with the marketing VISTA to do specific solicitation, stewardship and engagement of donors and funders.
The Development Specialist VISTA will assist in tasks that support the development, marketing, events, and volunteer needs of the center. Tasks include building operational capacity for donor/volunteer data management and tracking, mailing distributions, special events, and communication channels.

The Associate ACM position is responsible for helping to create and implement a high quality Beyond School Program. This in-office/in-person, part-time position requires someone who is skilled not only with communication, scheduling, and logistics, but also is able to connect with students and families, alike.
The Success Coach ACM position is responsible for helping to create and implement a high quality Beyond School Program. This in-office/in-person, full-time position requires someone who is skilled not only with communication, scheduling, and logistics but also is able to connect with adults and students, alike.
Community College Coaches are there to support students in their enrollment and transition into St. Louis Community College, facilitate their academic and social adjustment, and connect them to on-campus resources and events.
The Development VISTA will improve Diamond Diva Empowerment Foundation's overall fundraising efforts by researching, identifying, and preparing grants, creating partnerships with individual and corporate donors, recruiting, training, and managing volunteers, developing and implementing a marketing strategy, including social media, monthly newsletters, and eblast content.
