Healing Action Coalition Support VISTA - FT

Healing Action's VISTA Intermediary Project exists to build the capacity of anti-trafficking and victim service organizations across the state so that survivors are able to increase their access to basic needs, obtain self-identified goals, and have improved access to healthcare. The Coalition Grants and Database Management VISTA will build the capacity of Healing Action Network and Missouri Coalition Against Trafficking and Exploitation, which is housed within by researching and managing the Coalitions database and by completing grants to provide sustainable funding for community education efforts in St. Louis, Missouri. As a result of the VISTA member's service, the St. Louis community will have received education on this underserved population, which frequently also experiences poverty, substance use, and interactions with the criminal justice system. Also, through program evaluation conducted by the VISTA member, the members will continue to receive services based on current evidence-based research.

Healing Action is committed to combating commercial sexual exploitation through a multi-system approach of creating awareness by sharing our experience / strength / hope with others, advocacy with/on behalf of survivors for programs and services needed to empower them, and healing action to create spaces where all can thrive.
